New EC Director Appointed

Letter from Matt McGann to MIT alumni:

I am thrilled to announce Dr. Suzanne Driscoll Plump ’89 as the new Director of the Educational Council.

Suzanne has spent her professional career in higher education, serving in teaching roles at Santa Clara University in California and Kean University in New Jersey, as well as serving as Assistant Dean of Admissions at Rockefeller University in New York. Suzanne has also been an EC in Northern New Jersey for many years (receiving mostly 5s on her reports, of course). She also has deep experience with volunteer organizations, notably serving as the head liaison at the American School of Paris. At MIT, Suzanne was Course 7 with a minor in French and lived in Baker House.

Suzanne was chosen as the new EC Director following an extensive search process. I was thrilled to see significant interest in the position from many of our best ECs. In the course of our conversations with the ECs who applied, we heard a lot of great ideas for the Educational Council, which Suzanne and the team will be looking to implement.
The three-day programme of events will include authors and guests from cialis in kanada India and across the world, among the tranquil waterways and lush hill stations of this tropical southern state. Suzanne will begin at MIT later this summer, after she and her family move from New Jersey to the Boston area. We are excited to welcome them all back to the MIT community. In the meantime, Brenna Heintz and Kathy Breland will continue to manage the EC Office.

Welcome, Suzanne!
